The always flawless Kylie Minogue has released her highly anticipated The Abbey Road Sessions album this week in the USA. The album reinvents some of her greatest hits in orchestral format, gone are the electric beats and POP synths and instead we get pianos, guitars and strings.

Some people might be turned off by the idea but if you’re anything like a Christina Aguilera fan then you know true music and you’ll appreciate this album. I have to say I’m absolutely floored with what Kylie has done on this record, every single moment is to be treasured.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of early Kylie, give me club thumping Kylie any day over her earlier material. Though I have to say her Abbey Roads rendition of “Hand On Your Heart” is striking, it’s simply life. I can’t stop listening to this tune, give it a spin below and for contrast I added the original version via YouTube. To be able and take the original and turn it into what we have below is beyond…. that’s amazing POP for you! You dig?
