Meghan Trainor’s highly anticipated new single “No” has just dropped and I’m feeling all kinds of nostalgia!
Trainor’s “No” feels like everything we loved from 1999 - 2006, mix Max Martin bass lines (I’m getting mad Backstreet Boys vibes) and Pharrell/Snoop Dogg drops (like its hot) combined with Meghan’s throwback vibes and you get a pretty solid diddy for 2016. Oh, did I forget to mention what sounds like a Destiny’s Child “Jumpin Jumpin’-inspired bridge? It’s in there and it’s good.
Do I love it? No. But I really do like it, very much. What do you think?
