No, this isn’t a cover of that Tweet song, I’m sorry. After premiering “Devil’s Touch” and “Clean” and now “Oh My” it’s become more and more clear that the L.A based, Australian born singer TIANN should be on everyone’s radar.

TIANN is like a mixture of Sade, Jessie Ware and Aaliyah, which I know is high praise. She fits nicely in the trend towards minimalistic R&B (FKA Twigs, Jhene Aiko, Tinashe) with some added warmth and sensuality. Which each listen, all of TIANN’s songs get better – a rare feat – as you start to notice passionate lyricism and soulful vocals. The production is gorgeous (as is the singer herself!) and helps create mood music that is both impactful and sparse at the same time.
