I first blogged about Gallant back in October of last year when his rendition of Ke$ha’s “Die Young” took my breath away. Well now the Los Angeles based R&B crooner returns with a record that I just can’t shake, it’s absolutely lovely.
A gorgeous production (by rising producer Felix Snow) envelops the listener in a melancholic atmosphere on “If It Hurts”, think of The xx or The Antlers meets Frank Ocean, it’s truly something special and something special you must familiarize yourself with.
