Gwen Stefani’s highly anticipated return is here with the release of the Max Martin-produced single “Baby Don’t Lie”!

Think N.E.R.D. meets The xx meets No Doubt meets a third or fourth Rihanna single circa 2010 or so and “Baby Don’t Lie” comes into clear focus. For a single written by Stefani alongside hit-makers Benny Blanco and OneRepublic’s frontman Ryan Tedder, I was expecting something a bit bigger but alas, those are just my expectations coming into play.

While it’s not exactly the strongest comeback single, it’s certainly catchy as hell. What do you think?
