Today, Hollywood lost an amazing young star unexpectedly.  The cause of death is still undetermined, but we’re not here to report on that. As word spread earlier, we felt the goosebumps grow on us, and our bodies quiver, this unbelievable news broke our hearts.  Aside from her break out role in Clueless, Murphy’s contributions to the film world were extensive, Don’t Say A Word, Girl Interrupted, & Sin City to name a few.  Though, did you also know she turned the music world upside down in 2006?

In case you weren’t aware, or just forgot, Brittany Murphy made an impact in POP music culture with remixer/producer Paul Oakenfold back in 2006. The track Faster Kill Pussycat, reached number one  on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart, and spent some time in the UK’s Top 10 Singles Chart! Her voice was truly unique, a shame to know we will never receive a full proper pop release from Murphy. Check out the video below!
