I was really excited when I saw that Clean Bandit covered Lorde because I figured they would have taken on ‘Team’, seeing how it’s the new single and all. Then I saw that they covered ‘Royals’ and I was all sad but then I pushed play and watched with my eyes and listened with my ears and now, I’m really happy again.

This cover of ‘Royals’ is pretty much exactly what we need from anyone covering this song at this point. I’m tired of hearing the song covered in the style of Lorde, Clean Bandit really switches it up and makes it their own here.

Oh, and Clean Bandit is def one to watch in 2014, so get familiar…
