A Katy Perry demo that apparently leaked months ago has resurfaced and sparked renewed excitement for the POP superstars return in 2017.

Upon first listen, “Witness” is obviously a demo but its glistening house production and epic breakdown proves that Katy’s still got some fight left in her after the disappointment that was “Rise” was released earlier this year. “Can I get a witness…” Katy sings over the starry track, perhaps an homage to Britney’s “Hot As Ice” or likely not, it’s a brilliant and catchy lyric. Give it to us, Katy, we’re waiting for that new new!
