Lana Del Rey worked with rapper Smiler back in 2010 while the two were recording in studios next to each other. The result is a cover of the Shirley Bassey song “Big Spender”. “Spender” will be featured on his mix tape All I Know set for release next week on the 27th.

What do you think of the song? I LOVE the fact that Lana is singing the Shirley Bassey classic, would love to hear her do more covers like this. Only solo, I don’t need an emcee rapping over Lana.
