At this point, I’m running out of praise for Jessie Ware. Following “Tough Love”, “Share It All” and “Say You Love Me”, Jessie has premiered another amazing song from her upcoming sophomore album.
It’s called “Want Your Feeling” and it’s co-written by Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange aka the producer behind gems like Sky Ferreira’s “Everything is Embarrassing” and MKS’s “Flatline.”
“Want Your Feeling” shifts gears a bit from what we’ve heard from the upcoming album so far. The song has an groovy, 70’s feel, which relies on a lively bass line and Ware’s killer falsetto. This isn’t the first time the singer has dipped her feet in the disco pool: “Want Your Feeling” is like the slightly more melancholic sister to “Imagine It Was.”
And since Jessie Ware is the gift that keeps on giving, she’s uploaded a live version of the song below. The performance sounds almost identical to the studio recording (because she is Jessie Ware and remains flaw-free).
Check it out and let us know what you think!
