It’s been a long time coming for hit making singer/songwriter Ester Dean (“Firework”,”Rude Boy”, “(Drop Dead) Beautiful” and MANY more) but she’s well on her way to superstardom with her new track “Gimme Money” featuring your royal rapstress Nicki Minaj. Sure she already scored a Top 40 hit on her first single with Chris Brown back in 2009, but this is her year to BLOW!

First up, “Gimme Money” sounds like 3 Rihanna songs in one, elements of “Rude Boy” and “What’s My Name” sling from note to note through out. A strong chorus, a strong feature from Minaj, and strong vocal delivery from Dean ensure she’s on the right path to conquer Top 40 radio with this one.

Today saw a new track from the “Superbass” co-writer drop for the movie The Lorax. “Let It Grow” steps into Natasha Bedingfield territory, a perfect track for an animated motion picture and the kind of song you ‘ll hear on Adult Contemporary.
