I’ve had this on my radar for a couple of weeks now and have been meaning to share it.
Maria Mena was born in Oslo, Norway on February 19th. 1986. With international hit singles like “All This Time”, “You’re the Only One”, “Just Hold Me” and “Miss You Love”. She is highly regarded for her confessional song-writing and personal lyrics. Her song “Sorry” was featured on the third season of the American tv-show “So You Think You Can Dance” and “What’s Another Day” was featured during the fourth season.
Check out her new video for the beautiful track “Homeless”. A tender record with Mena softly singing “What is in this wine? The more I drink the more I wander off into a strangers eyes”. “Homeless” pulls listeners to a fragile place while listening and keeps you captivated through the entire track, so much passion and honesty in her voice. I really love this song, if one person who didn’t know this loves it after this post I will be happy!
Mena recently released her 5th studio album Viktoria on September 23rd.
