1…2…3….Britney moving up 2 weeks!(Standard-ly)
Sony has pushed up the date for the standard version of ”The Singles Collection” from the 24th to the 10th of November in the US! With the Deluxe Fan Set still on for the 24th! Not really sure if thats good news, won’t this lower sales??!! I mean come on, we’re all really excited for the deluxe set right?! We bet the label is scared about GaGa’s “MONSTER” release the same day!
New Killers for New Moon!
New Moon track from The Killers, we’re really not to crazy about it. Maybe it will grow on us, maybe it won’t!
The New Moon Soundtrack drops October 20 in the US.
Leona Lewis Promo Shot.
Check out a new promo shot for the upcoming Leona album! We like it, very intriguing! Kudos Leona!
Also, we hear there is going to be a cover of the Oasis classic “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” on the new album! CAN’t WAIT, and can you imagine the REMIXES!! OHHHH….
R.I.P. Stephen….
Boyzone member Stephen Gately died this past weekend, details about the death are still unknown. Watch the video for one of our favorite pop ballads(no, were not just saying that because of his recent untimely death), with an introduction by the late “Boyzoner” himself. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
Discover: LIGHTS
You have to check out this (somewhat)new artist! Her sound is so SWEET and SOOTHING and POP-PY! Think Michelle Branch(Earlier when she was REALLY good, she still is but not as) meets an electronic synth traveling through outer space! WE LOVE LIGHTS!
The first time we heard the song “Drive My Soul”, was back in mid-2008, it was used for some advertising campaign(for old navy, gap, or something like that). Over one year later, we FINALLY get to RAVE about this Canadian born pop-stress on our blog! For a nice breath of fresh air, check out these videos!
New single “Saviour” below…. POP-UH-LICIOUS!
I’m Not Your Toy! + NA Tour Dates
Here is the video for the new La Roux single, this is one of our favorite tracks from the album! THIS is a good video, very imaginative, fun, we can’t get enough! La Roux is a slice of electro heaven, the self titled debut from this duo(yes, there are 2 people in La Roux) is PHENOMENAL!
If you haven’t picked up the full length album yet, make sure you get it! Check it out at the Shop POP page!
Don’t miss La Roux on tour in North America! Only 7 Shows!
Weekend Anthem 10/09/09 – Crookers Feat.Kelis
Its Friday night, so we’ll leave you with something SICK to blast before you go out this weekend!
New Crookers Feat.Kelis, their full lenth album ‘Tons Of Friends” drops later this year! We are KRAZING over this whole dubstep/hip-hop sound going on! Enjoy party people!
“MONSTER” Cover Art.
Deluxe Edition
Standard Edition
We like the standard edition cover better! Not crazy about the deluxe cover, its single cover material if anything really! Apparently the deluxe edition is limited to a print of 10,000 copies only! So of course we’re going to snatch those up first, so smart, the label really knows how to market her!
8 Unreleased tracks will be on “The Fame Monster”! Word has it that there will also be a limited version in December, and probably followed by the ULTRA RARE LIMITED DELUXE version in January(JK on the U.R.L.D.V., though keep your fingers crossed)!
Official New Sugababes Video…
- The girls look SO HOT!
- Booty dropping dance moves are BANANAS!
- and ummmm…..the acting is good.(who are we kidding, not much to like about the video besides its sex appeal, then again, thats the point)
- The song is no “Get Sexy”.
- Who are the other “girls”!? Kind of confusing… Especially after switching members for the 100th time!
- Its missing Keisha(YES, we are still bitter).
BOTTOM LINE:
Nothing special, the girls better pump it up for the next video, we are OVER THIS ONE ALREADY!
New GaGa + Re-Release Details!
Really digging the new GaGa track, heaps more than “Bad Romance”! Its very similar to the track “Quicksand” she did for Britney, its so bangin’!
Something about it says “the 90s” to us, we LOVE it! Pretend the voiceovers not there, WE KNOW, we hate it too, maybe more than you do!
The re-release will contain almost an albums worth of new tracks!
“I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame,” Gaga said in the release. “While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my ‘Fear of Sex Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Alcohol Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Love Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Death Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Loneliness Monster,’ etc.” She did not further specify the exact titles of the new songs, except for “Bad Romance” and one called “Speechless.”
One thing is for certain, a lot of M-O-N-E-Y, SO SEXY!
