Caitlin Timmins is a new artist I plopped onto your radar last month with the premiere of her debut single “Dry (Fresh Out Of You)”, a fun little number that echoes the stylings of Sara Bareilles. Now, Timmins has dropped the first half of her debut EP, Bad Decisions Part 1, and it’s a solid introduction to the emerging singer/songwriter.

Timmins pulls heavily on the heartstrings with the EP track, “You Walked Away”, a tune that challenges you to hold back the tears. It’s the kind of song that just needs to make an appearance on So You Think You Can Dance for it to take off, it’s something special.
