No one really knows what’s happening with MKS.  After making a killer comeback last year with “Flatline”, the re-formed girl group seem to have disappeared again.  Well, if this leaked demo for a new song called “Burnt Out” is any indication it’s time for a comeback to the comeback.

While just a demo, “Burnt Out” is a stinging reminder why we need MKS (Mutya Keisha and Siobhan legally won the rights back to the ‘Sugababes’ name recently, so who knows what we’re supposed to call them).   Filled with untouchable harmonies and a mid-tempo UK garage dance beat, “Burnt Out” shows the potential of the troubled girl group.  MKS has more talent and raw star power in a demo than half the releases this year.

I just wish the girls could hear the lyrics “why don’t we do something, we’re wasting away to nothing” and get on with it already!
