There are few things I love more than an amazing POP girl group, thank the POP Gods for The Saturdays.

While in LA earlier this month, I had the chance to meet the girls before their performance for TigerHeat at Avalon in Hollywood on October 4th. I was a nervous wreck and while the moment was short it was most definitely sweet.

After I signed the release form (they were filming their reality show for E!), I entered the room full of camera men and entourage. Rochelle, Frankie, Una, Mollie, and Vanessa (we’re on a first name basis now) were gracious, humble, and even more gorgeous  in person than in any photo shoot or album cover, even their microphones were dazzling! 

I somehow managed to round up all 5 girls for a photo opp and it was EVERYTHING (see pic below). I welcomed them to America and told them I was looking forward to supporting every step of their way on conquering this country of the red, white, and blue. In keeping on my word, I uploaded a smashing performance of their latest single from that night on YouTube along with 3 official remixes to “What About Us”.

There’s a lot of speculation on whether or not “What About Us” will be their their first US single but at the moment, the track is currently set for release in the UK only. The girls have been busy in the studio as of lately with Diane Warren (Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Leann Rimes) among other high profile producers and writers so get ready for a whole new wave of The Saturdays come 2013!
