After weeks of “Get Lucky” remixes and stitched snippets bouncing around the internet, we FINALLY have the official thing!

I like what I hear, I really do, but I just don’t understand all the hype around this track. Is it authentically classic sounding? Certainly. Is it fresh? It is for 2013. Is it groundbreaking? Not quite. Does it change the game? Not really.

“Get Lucky” gets the job done and major props to the guys for creating one of the biggest hype campaigns I’ve ever experienced but the payoff just isn’t there for me.At the end of the day, it’s a solid jam and I know I’ll be dancing along to it for a while, I just hope the album holds bigger tunes that I can dive into.
