Ke$ha Mega Post: It’s about to Blow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!

The video for the second single “Blow” lifted from the glorious 2010 EP release that is Cannibal has arrived. Thankfully, in natural Ke$ha form it’s an all out animalistic fiesta of a shit show! Unicorns, rainbow laser  guns, and a sexy mature Dawson (James Van Der Beek) aid the  Queen of trash-POP perfection. “Blow” takes ridiculous to all new heights and I fucking love it! Enjoy.

“(New York – NY) – Global superstar Ke$ha will be releasing I Am The Dance Commander + I Commander You To Dance: The Remix Album (RCA Records / Kemosabe Entertainment) on March 22nd. This is Ke$ha’s first remix album and features DJs such as Switch, DJ Skeet Skeet, Fred Falke, Dave Aude and more  putting their unique spin on the most popular tracks off of Animal and Animal + Cannibal, including  “TiK ToK” and “We R Who We R” as well as the “Sleazy” remix feat. Andre 3000 and the unreleased live favorite “F**k Him He’s A DJ”.”

A remix album so soon Ke$ha? Is this a sincere effort or the doings of the cash cow? Considering we have some new mixes, an unreleased track, and special guests I’m going to deem it a sincere effort with rather lazy cover art. Either way, it’s somewhat new material from the girl and I will take it!  Thank You.

Ke$ha and I!

We finally arrive to my final blurb on the dirty POP princess! Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Ke$ha before her sold out show at The House Of Blues in Chicago. If there is one thing you must realize about her, please note that the girl does make some seriously damn good POP music.

I was honored to meet such a  fantastic POP writer whom I truly respect. Many will contest with the typical “I can write a song like that” argument to which I simply respond “YOU CAN’T”! If you could you would have countless Top 10 singles on radio but you don’t so shut it.

Check out a performance I recorded of my favorite track off the Cannibal EP and possibly one of the best Ke$ha songs ever – “The Harold Song”. I think it showcases her diverse abilities as a songwriter, switching up from the young rebel formula to a more mature and emotional type. Yes there was “Blind”, “Hungover”, and “Dancing With Tears In My Eyes” off the wonderful debut Animal but those were never released to mainstream audiences. It would only be in her favor to release “The Harold Song” as a single, PLEASE Ke$ha and Sony, do it for the love of POP!

Oh, and I also had a chance to congratulate her on the track she penned for Britney. Ke$ha replied with “It leaked already!?” and I said “No” then she said “I’m so excited about it”. That is all.

Please excuse the camerawork. You can only do so much with a Flip!
