As a serious James Blunt fan (since “High” was a Single Of The Week on iTunes in 2005), I always get excited for new music from the Blunt man.

“Bonfire Heart” (out October 7th) is the first single from his fourth studio album titled Moon Landing (out October 21st), the song was co-written with OneRepublic front-man Ryan Tedder, who also produced the track.

On first listen it feels like the usual Blunt material but on repeat listening, I have to say it grows on you in a surprising way. It’s not going to me some mega-smash that everyone will be singing but it’s a good tune.
