Lana Del Rey’s latest offering is a track featured on Emile Haynie’s upcoming debut project, dropping January 20 on Interscope. Haynie is a producer from the Born To Die era who helped bring to life “Blue Jeans”, “Dark Paradise”, “Summertime Sadness”… do I have to go on? The man is a genius.
“Wait For Life” washes ashore all of the Born To Die vibes that were pushed far out to sea to make room for the smoky waters of Ultraviolence. Considering Lana’s recent announcement that the upcoming Honeymoon album will stay true to the Born To Die era’s sound, this is an extremely promising direction of what to potentially expect.
