Ciara released “Body Party” two days ago and I’ve had a series of fortunate/unfortunate events occur that prevented me from listening until today, well I played the song and totally forgot I was listening to it. I then proceeded to play it again and realized I was trying way too hard to listen to it, I guess this means I don’t like “Body Party”.
“Body Party” is sexy, it’s R&B done Janet style, the artwork should have been hint enough that this was coming. It’s just not memorable to me, I feel like this could be any R&B jam of the last 20 years. When it comes to Ciara, I expect a bit more, actually, a whole lot more.
