Britney Spears is back, bitches!
The single titled “Make Me,” not “Make Me (Oooh)” like rumored for months, is a sultry, sexy single. Britney dives into new territory with “Make Me” that sits somewhere between 2007’s Blackout, a Jack Ü vocal-chop and a Janet Jackson-esque jam. It’s produced by English DJ Burns and co-written by Spears herself and you know Britney, she won’t take credit unless it’s due.
As hot as the production is, Britney’s vocals here are the starring attraction! She’s never sounded better and G-Eazy’s feature playing out at the end is the perfect feature, not getting in the way of Britney’s silky vibes.
Let Britney raise your roof below, are you a fan?
Update #1: After one hour of listening, I have to say this is a career-best for Britney. “Make Me” is unexpected yet undoubtedly a Britney Spears song. The song is massive in every sense of the word. Every detail of the track is a perfectly polished moment. I’m obsessed.
