Oh Be Clever (Cory Scott Layton, Brittney Shields) returns with their brand new single “Lost You” and I have the exclusive premiere + download for you. Dope, huh?

The duo stir up some sugar and a little heavy metal attitude for an end result that sounds like the very definition of “rock candy”. They should hire Oh Be Clever to write and produce all the original tracks on the upcoming big-screen adaption of Jem. You know what, I would very much like that to happen.

Vocalist and songwriter Brittney Shields has this to say on the new single:

“Lost You” is a snarky song about a back and forth relationship I was in for about 4 1/2 years. It’s my way of admitting that I totally messed up and I finally accept the realization that it’s really over….again. I think people know how it feels to go back and forth and back and forth with another person. It can be exhausting! Performing this song is HIGHLY cathartic for me, as one could imagine.”
