fun. is Nate Ruess (The Format), Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff and yes that period is part of their band name. The trio is signed to the Fueled By Ramen record label which is also home to acts such as Cobra Sarship, Paramore, and Gym Class Heroes.

The band formed in 2008 and in 2009 they released their debut Aim and Ignite. Now the boys are back with a sophomore attempt titled Some Nights (due Feb. 21, 2012) and they have brought along Janelle Monae for their latest single “We Are Young”.

If you’re familiar with The Format you will automatically be entranced by that damn amazing voice which is Nate Ruess, add a superb indie-POP production with heavy bass lines and a dash of Janella Monae and you have yourself a hit!
