Upon first listen, I felt like I was on a roller coaster, the intro grabbed me and then the first verse hit and I felt sort of “meh” about it and I really believed I wasn’t going to like it but once the first chorus was over, I decided I kind of love it. Give it a play and be sure to hang around until the first chorus plays out, trust me.
I can’t get over the lyrics, you can just feel them – “why are we becoming, something different than what I predicted”, too good.
Biography:
EPISODE is an alternative pop band/production group from New York City. “Hold On” is the group’s second release and features vocals from Stefan Weiner and additional production from Thelonious Martin (Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper). Their first single, “Dust” (Feat. Topaz Jones & Mree)” was released earlier this year. Look out for their debut EP later this summer.
