Sarah Brightman is gearing up for her biggest musical venture yet, the siren is set to perform in OUTER SPACE – so she’s basically the blue alien in The 5th Element. Dreamchaser will be released on April 16th but you can preview the album below along with a bit from the press release:

 Brightman is currently in Moscow training for her voyage to the International Space Station, where she will orbit the earth 16 times daily and become the first professional musician to perform from outer space. Inspired by Brightman’s dream of journeying to space, ‘Dreamchaser’ reinterprets songwriters from Paul McCartney to Sigur Rós, Elbow to Cocteau Twins and is her first album since 2008’s ‘Symphony,’ the highest-charting US album of her career.
