Lady Gaga will surprise fans with her own holiday special, titled A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, People magazine reports.

The 90-minute special was directed by Lady Gaga herself and promises to give an inside peek into the singer’s private life. During the show, Gaga will sit down with ABC’s Katie Couric for an interview from her’s alma mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan.

“We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers,” said Couric. “She will impress you, delight you and surprise you.”

Lady Gaga is also set to deliver a spectacular performance of eight songs, including the latest single “Marry the Night” as well as “Yoü And I,” “The Edge of Glory,” “White Christmas” and “The Lady is a Tramp” with Tony Bennett, in front of her friends and family.

Don’t miss A Very Gaga Thanksgivingon ABC on Thursday, November 24th at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Update: The track listing below has been confirmed and gone is the “Heavy Metal Lover” remix, not sure what the situation is but I’m extremely dissappointed. Either way if it does exist I’m sure we will hear it soon enough.

So once again the music scene outside the US proves to get the BEST releases while people in the states get the shaft, when will the industry learn!!

While Dance In The Dark has been confirmed as 4th single for some time now, rumors are circulating the POP sphere that Polydor confirmed the song will not have a video(which we find hard to believe, but you never know)! While we LOVE the song, we don’t think it will have the upper hand without the video, a video would certainly garner the exposure the track needs to “grow” on the mainstream audiences!

Santa Monica, CA – July 8th, 2010 – LADY GAGA will release Lady Gaga – The Remix (Streamline/KonLive/Cherrytree/Interscope) on August 3rd, 2010. The Remix has sold over 500,000 albums internationally topping the charts in the UK, Japan and Canada. The U.S. version of The Remix features ten songs from The Fame and The Fame Monster including Gaga hits like “Just Dance”, “Poker Face”, “LoveGame”, “Paparazzi”, “Bad Romance”, “Telephone” and “Alejandro” all remixed by highly acclaimed DJ’s and artists. This is the first time this collection will be available stateside.

Following the announcement of the North American extension of The Monster Ball Tour, international pop superstar LADY GAGA now also has the largest selling digital album ever, scanning 783,056 units of “The Fame Monster” (combined).
