Watch Katy Perry and Kanye West give a pretty lackluster performance of “E.T.” on American Idol Thursday night. Not really sure what I was expecting but this just falls flat on it’s face. Katy was ok vocally but the performance was missing that SPARK from both artists.

Whoa, top notch work for this video on the visual end – cinematography and special effects are out of this world good! However, that’s about all I’m getting from – big and over the top and while enjoyable it’s not going down in books. Check out the “popcorn flick” music video featuring Kan-yeze below.

Kanye West dropped the video for his latest single “All Of The Lights” and it’s worth your time because -

Rihanna is featured alongside the rappers (West, Cudi) and looks ferocious doing so!
The tune is quite good.
An ad for the new Britney album plays before the video (at least it did for me)!

The new Katy Perry single features the snarky and pompous yet undeniably talented rapper Kanye West on the mix! “E.T.” was a questionable hit before West dropped onto the track but I think they have secured a SMASH together with the pairing. Kanye doesn’t necessarily add anything significant to the track but it’s sure to gain tons of extra spins on urban radio outlets everywhere with his presence. Take a listen below!

The video is set to drop pretty soon and does this remix point to a hint of a possible re-release of Teenage Dream? I say YES.
