Empire Of The Sun delivered a shimmering body of work with their 2013 effort, Ice On The Dune. As with every album, some tracks are better than others but one track, the best of the bunch, and on Ice On The Dune, the award goes to “Concert Pitch”.

A synth-happy feel good record, “Concert Pitch” glistens bright in sun-drenched melodies and electro-POP beats, it’s absolutely essential. I would be surprised if this stand out doesn’t serve as a single, how could anyone deny the euphoric melodies of the blissful chorus “I wanna go, I just wanna ride with you, ’cause then I’ll know I’ll be by your side, with you tonight”. Also, can you imagine the epic remixes that would come from this track if it were given single status?!
