Mark Ronson & The Business International released Record Collection last Fall and while I listened to it I didn’t really give it a proper chance. There were a couple of tracks I enjoyed but I overlooked many and this one track in particular has forced me to revisit the whole album.

The sweetest piece of pie in this song (“Hey Boy”) comes from Rose Elinor Dougall – who is featured on vocals and instrumentation throughout Record Collection. Her voice is just bliss and really works the track in all the right ways.

Listen to  the album version of “Hey Boy”  and/or watch a LIVE take on it that will leave you in awe. I play this on repeat solely to listen to the chorus, it’s so amazing I can barely take it!
