And my new favorite song ever for the week goes to former Girl Aloud who is now simply the girl on fire (it has nothing to do with her red hair), Nicola Roberts! Written by Dragonette, “Lucky Day” includes all the perfect elements from the ever so pleasant piano riff to the doo-wop throwback screams of “whoa-whoa-whoa-oh”!

“Lucky Day” is the second single to be lifted from the upcoming album Cinderella’s Eyes which is due out on September 26th. With “Beat Of My Drum” and “Lucky Day” leading us into her debut album I can say I’m eagerly awaiting what the rest of her debut will behold! Enjoy!
