Last years X-Factor winner Joe McElderry has kicked his musical career into gear with the release of his new single “Ambitions” which was premiered on Radio 1 this morning. The track is a gorgeous 80’s synth POP explosion and it’s really damn good, inspirational too! “Ambitions” is taken from the debut release “Wide Awake” which drops on October 25th in the UK!

Note: His version is actually a cover of Norwegian POP group Donkeyboy’s 2009 single. You can listen to their version and watch the video below, the video is seriously one of our favorite things to come along this week! Though we must say we prefer Joe’s take on the song, Donkeyboy has created something absolutely wonderful and deserve some mad credit!
