Kylie announces 2012 project + listen to the perfection that is “Fragile”!

An orchestra and Kylie Minogue? 2 of my favorite things in the world!!!

Kylie Minogue has revealed plans for her upcoming 2012 project! The POP star has been in talks of releasing an acoustic/orchestral album and now it’s official, Kylie revealed the following recently during a performance for her label EMI:

“I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total. Not just for this, I’ve been working on a project for next year. Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”

If there is any POP star who could pull this off it would be Kylie Minogue, the girl has the voice of an opera star and not to mention the CLASS!

There’s also speculation about a series of intimate concerts to coincide with the 2012 record release and it’s believed Minogue would perform her less mainstream album cuts  chosen by the FANS. If true, there is only ONE SONG I PRAY she plays LIVE and that is “Fragile”. It is without a doubt my favorite Kylie Minogue song ever, it is the quintessential POP ballad! Remeber this song when it comes time to pick the set list Kylie fans!

I mean, you can’t get more vulnerable than: “But I get butterflies/Water in my eyes/When I think of you/I could break in two” and “This could be the nearest thing to love” accompanied by those delicate background vocals crooning behind the wrenching lyrics! It’s a POP masterpiece I tell ya!

Listen to “Fragile” below and watch a live performance at Abbey Road Studios of ‘All The Lovers” which was performed this past week for her label! Expect to see a lot more performances like this come 2012!
