The Pet Shop Boys have just dropped their new single “Winner”, a delicate synth-POP parade that manages to entertain just enough to get by.These guys are so hit or miss with me and this one is ok but not great by any means.
I expected something different from the boys as they worked with producer Andrew Johnson (Kanye West) on this project, not that I wanted a rap/hip-hop vibe from them but just something out of their comfort zone would have been nice. Listen to “Winner” below, enjoy.
Pet Shop Boys’ brand new album ‘Elysium’ will be released on Parlophone on September 17, preceded by the single ‘Winner’ on August 6.
