First Listen: Jessie J – Domino (Jump Smokers Remix)

Jump Smokers do their thing for Jessie J and sadly it’s their thing that just doesn’t work for me anymore. “Domino” is a huge POP song with a melody screaming for proper remix treatment, Jump Smokers just sugarcoat it with their basic gloss and leave a rather unfortunate taste in my mouth. It’s about time the guys switch things up and take us to different place because I can’t take their bland electro fare much longer. Either way, glad to see “Domino” is getting remix support and I only look forward to seeing what other mixers can do for Jessie.

The video for “Domino” is set to drop tomorrow on MTV, get excited!
