Carly Slay Jepsen returns with “I Really Like You,” an 80’s tinged POP anthem with a really big hook!

The nice thing about “I Really Like You” is that the verses are equally as great as the chorus, not once do you feel like you could skip “that part” of the song because you really really want to listen to the whole thing. Oh, and the “Bette Davis Eyes” vibes that hit when the second verse begins…. my God.

It will be interesting to see how the mainstream takes to Carly’s comeback single as it pretty much occupies the same territory as Taylor Swift’s 1989 material.
