Wow. Wow. Wow! I first heard of Emeli Sandé a couple weeks ago when I heard a song by Professor Green featuring Emeli singing the chorus. I quickly fell for the massive hook sung by Emeli but wrote off the track because the rap bit wasn’t doing it for me (after repeat video watching tonight, I do recommend).

Fast forward to today when I caught Emeli on Jools Holland performing a stripped down yet still grand production of her hit “Heaven” that left me picking my jaw up off the floor! This song is beyond goosebumps good, in single form it’s a glorious and downplayed dance record that echoes the early sounds of Massive Attack, Faithless, and Moby.

Like with many POP songs I fall for, I became obsessed and felt the urge to listen to every remix and live version available so here is the best of “Heaven” along with her appearance on the Professor Green record “Read All About It”. Hope you love this chick as much as I do, she’s going to be big!
