Beth Ditto better known as the lead singer from The Gossip has strayed onto a solo project which she announced last year and we finally have the debut video from the power house vocalist.

The video for lead single “I Wrote The Book” plays out like an obvious homage to Madonna, just like everything else does these days, ha! Ditto works it for the camera and the subtle track production plays into her favor, allowing her voice to do most of the work and rightfully so.

Check out the video below and as a Friday bonus, listen to an all time favorite remix of mine from The Gossip. “Heavy Cross” was a pretty good tune on it’s own ground but Fred Falke takes it to a whole new dimension. One listen and you will believe you have drifted off to heaven!
