Elliston brings an extremely refreshing take to the indie / bedroom pop genre in his catchy and infectious single, “Grapefruit Diet”.
The song paints the doomed story about the sweet girl in town that has her shit together, but is doomed with having to deal with her love interest: an aloof guy who can’t figure out why she’s into him in the first place. And of course, Elliston tells the story in good fashion with clever rhyme schemes, delightful vocals, and sprinkles of addicting guitar riffs.
