We’d like to give an incredibly warm welcome back to an artist we’re very familiar with and adore a ton, Ci Majr, who just released a summer bop ahead of time, “Summer Drug”!
The song is quite a change in sonic direction from what we’re used to from Ci Majr, who we’ve known for her sweet yet strong R&B-infused pop vocals in her bops “Cuffin’ SZN” and “808”. Albeit the song being more so of a dance-y track from her past releases – almost as if it was a club hit smash – it still embodies some of her most characteristic songwriting traits: catchy, lucious, and boppy. Nonetheless, her latest single is very addicting and truly, it’s best encapsulated by the song title itself: “Summer Drug”.
