We’d like to give a huge warm introduction to Australian alternative / dance-pop duo dekleyn and give the world a sneak peek of their self-titled debut album, dekleyn!
After working on the album for the last year, dekleyn is proud to say that they wrote, produced, and mixed the entire project on their own, making it a fully independent release. The album features twelve full-length pop bops and takes you on a journey that is filled with silky vocals, beautiful instrumentation, and masterful blending of sounds. Every track transitions into the next smoothly and tells a unique and meaningful story originating from their personal lives.
Our personal favorite is “Leave It To Me”, where the duo mentions the song “lyrically highlights the struggle of feeling stuck or at a crossroads in life. As the opening track on the album, musically it has an uplifting, confident feel to it incorporating catchy melodies to get the mood lifted from the get-go!” – an overall message I think we can all relate to.
