VICE and DJ Spider join forces to create one of the most explosive dance-house tracks of the year, and it’s artist-appoved: “They flipped the shit out of it and now I can go to Europe proud with my head up.” Nicky Blitz says of the remix.
With it being the middle of summer and all, this blissful take on “Dynamite” was made for poolside hangs and late night cruises, volume cranked up to full blast of course. A stellar music video accompanies the funky, soulful, groovy sound of the happy, upbeat electronic-POP track.
On creating the remix, DJ Spider shared: “We had such a great time putting together this remix for Nicky Blitz. The original was so dope, and Nicky has such a unique sound, we really wanted to make sure that we did it justice. We also incorporated a live guitarist into the production to add to the vibe, while remaining true to Nicky’s vocal.”
Vice was stoked to collaborate with DJ Spider on this one, revealing “When the opportunity came to hop on a remix with Spider, I had to do it! The original track has such a different sound to what we came up with and it’s always a good vibe to collaborate with someone who understands what it takes to make a song club-friendly!”
It’s safe to say the collaboration is a match made in heaven and we truly hope to hear more from these two teaming up!
