Spring is right around the corner and it might just be my favorite season. I mean, I love summer but that monumental moment when you can open your Chicago apartment windows and let the fresh crisp air circulate throughout, it equals a bliss unlike any other. There’s a certain kind of music that should play out as the soundtrack to these moments, I hope that with Sunday Jam, you too can have a blissful moment.
Victor Malloy and his 2005 offering, “The Girl In The Hood”, is undoubtedly a Sunday Jam. Relax, let your expectations down, and just chill out, open a window and play this puppy on repeat because it’s absolutely lovely. 8 years old and it still feels as fresh as ever to my ears, imagine if someone worked this into a remix?
